    Professor N. G. Gejvall, of the Academy, examined the cremated remains from the bronze urn (no. 11) in Kaloriziki Tomb 40 and identified ten pieces of a human skull of a person aged 50-70, almost certainly a woman, with worked animal bone or ivory fragments.

    A colloquium on the chronology of Base-Ring Ware and Bichrome Wheel-made Ware was held in the Academy's premises, Stockholm, 18-19 May 2000; proceedings published by the Academy in 2001.
