Fragment of a mould-made hollow terracotta figurine of the Great Goddess in its various aspects, with grey clay fabric, from the area south of the rampart at Salamis, square K VI/δ4, Classical period. Surface breaks and wear; the fragment comprises the left half of a bust with the entire arm and part of the back, which is smoothed with careful joins, H. 10.5 cm, l. 7.6 cm. The left arm is folded in front and the fine hand, with long, differentiated and very flattened fingers, is turned palm upwards, holding a round object (perhaps a fruit) between thumb and index finger against the left breast; the close-fitting tunic has a wide V-neck, fastened at the left end of the neckline by a round button, and a cloak wraps the shoulder and upper arm to the elbow. Un manteau enveloppe l'épaule et le haut du bras jusqu'au coude, laissant l'avant-bras à nu, tandis qu'il descend en épais bourrelet vers la droite du corps en dégageant le sein.
