Kourion
Description
Low walls, a flight of stone steps and scattered masonry cover the hilltop in the middle distance, with a fallen column drum on the paved ground in the foreground. One man in a light shirt stands at the left edge of the ruins and another stands among the stones at centre. Beyond them lie a tree, cultivated fields and a wide plain running to a bay of the sea along the horizon.

Two men stand among the stone ruins on the hilltop site of Kourion. Beyond the excavated walls and steps, the flat coastal plain stretches toward the sea.
