Description

In the foreground, low walls of roughly dressed stone blocks and fallen masonry fill the lower half of the view, with a wooden ladder lying across them. Standing and fallen column drums and a few upright shafts stand among grass and low stone foundations in the middle distance. Trees and a hazy sky lie beyond, and a modern stone building appears at the right edge.

English

Stone column bases, a column standing on the left and low walls of cut stone lie scattered across the grassy site of the Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates at Kourion. A ladder rests across the stones in the foreground.
