Description

Column drums and broken shafts lie in the foreground, some on their sides and others standing on square bases. Further back, taller column stumps and a few upright pillars stand among low grass and earth banks. A large pine tree rises on the right, and dense dark trees cover the hills in the background under an overcast sky. The printed caption at the bottom reads Salamis Famagusta - Cyprus.
