    With his yacht Kerynia he helped locate the second (north) harbour of Salamis, over two miles north of the main harbour, during the 1954 underwater exploration of the city's seaward defences in which Services divers took part; Megaw takes it to be the harbour of Demetrios Poliorketes. An archaic terracotta head was found in boulder construction in the seawalls.
