Life and work
- 1971–1973From summer 1971 Symeonoglou placed Vounari in the hands of Al-Radi and Paley, who worked out the stratigraphy with triangular trenches through the final season of 1973; plans were completed in 1972.

- 1971Described as an older Porada student teaching at St. John's University while finishing his dissertation, which was partly written in the field; he had taken Columbia's field methods course in 1961 under Jacques Bordaz.
