- 6 March 1929As Acting Governor, wrote a memo to the Attorney General (FCO 141/2415) on preventing smuggling of antiquities, after a report that American Cyprus Mines Corporation officials at Skouriotissa were illegally exporting antiquities; quoted Gunnis that sentences were 'farcical & no deterrent' and proposed a minimum penalty in the Antiquities Law.
