Life and work

  1. c. 1928
    Described by Gjerstad as 'a young boy called Prodromos', a worker at the Soli dig, who remembered a stone statue built into a dry-stone wall on a high mountain about five km north-west of Soli, seen while herding goats. On the following Sunday the Swedes took him as their guide up the mountain: 'in this honest way we discovered Vouni'. Gjerstad describes him as 'a really nice, honest person and very observant'.
