Life and work
- 1885Owned the northern strip of the land (the 'gardens') in which Max Ohnefalsch-Richter excavated the Idalion Aphrodite temenos in 1885 for C. Watkins; the southern, higher ground belonged to Giorgi Fieri.
- August 1887A plate caption shows the pillared upper-storey hall of his house in the village of Dali. Separately, Ohnefalsch-Richter wrote that in summer 1887 he asked Avraami and 'another man, Michaili' to dig on the hill (spot 8) to verify the Idalion fortification line; the identification of this Michaili with Philippi is not stated.
