    Levelling for agricultural development of the Skales field (Kouklia, Paphos District) exposed tombs; the Department of Antiquities learned of it only after several tombs (T. 42-57) had been opened. The field is the one the preface attributes to Philip Papageorghiou of Paphos.

  2. April 1979 – 1981
    Department of Antiquities, under V. Karageorghis, excavated the cemetery on his field (systematic excavation from the beginning of April 1979; the book's German foreword dates the excavated necropolis 1980-81). Karageorghis thanks him as 'the owner of the field where we excavated' who 'showed patience and understanding and collaborated with us in spite of the inevitable delay in the development of his field'.
