    Bought a solid gold ring with a running ibex on the market in Cyprus ('in the local market'), where it was said to have come from the west of the island.

    Exchanged the ring with the Cyprus Museum for duplicate pottery; Megaw calls it a valuable acquisition of the Museum and dates it to the thirteenth century BC.
