Life and work
- 1899Published a limestone head from 'Lycia' in the National Museum, Athens (Archaiologike Ephemeris, pp. 52-56). Karageorghis/Kaltsas (2003) note it is another Herakles head of Cypriote type; Gjerstad first identified it as Herakles, not Omphale as in the original publication.
- August 1928As Director of the National Museum he received 41 prehistoric and Geometric Cypriote vases handed over 'in accordance with an exchange programme'.
