  • Brown jasper scarab, Hermitage inv. JK 545 (hero fighting a lion, 6th c. BC), 'said to have been found on Cyprus'; acquired in 1865 from the Ross collection in Halle. Neverov's 2000 article on the Ross gem collection is its modern reference.
