    Along with the workmen Theocharis and Lazaris, gave testimony taken by Menardos and the British lawyer Collyre in 1884 on behalf of the General; 'through the letters we know of the sum of money that each was given' (Menardos letter of 25 Jan 1885). Nothing is said of Mustafa's own testimony or sum.
