    Named as one of the 'mayors of the respective halves of the divided capital', with Lellos Demetriades, who undertook a common Nicosia Masterplan (UNHCR-funded) in 1979; the source says 'as early as 1979', so the office is read as the mayoralty of the Turkish Cypriot half.
