    The 1981 report on Alain Le Brun's French mission at Khirokitia states that M.-C. Cauvin (female per 'souligne-t-elle') emphasises that the chipped-stone assemblage, essentially sickles with notched pieces, denticulates, a few burins, poor scrapers and rare perforators, gives no argument for a Levantine origin of the Cypriot Neolithic. D. Stordeur is credited in the same passage with the bone industry.
