- August 1988With Paolo Mora, Jan Kosinka and Giorgio Capriotti inspected the Orpheus mosaic at Paphos and planned its lifting with Demetrios Michaelides (Archaeological Officer, Paphos) and the volume's editor; the photodocumentation was done during this visit.

- September–October 1988Phase 1 of the project (5 Sept to 14 Oct 1988): with Capriotti she wrote the sections on photodocumentation (80 x 80 cm quadrants), facing and consolidation of the mosaic (Paraloid B72 and ethyl silicate preconsolidation), detachment of the bichrome (yellow and red) wall fresco beside the mosaic, and recorded the preparatory layers; also cleaning tests with biocides on geometric pavements in the Villa of Theseus, shown to the training-course participants.
