    Published a brochure/article 'Sur le déchiffrement des inscriptions prétendues anariennes de l'île de Chypre'. Masson says Rodet gave a correct account of the decipherment through Greek, but opened by noting that 'M. Halévy poursuit encore la solution du problème' and that M. de Vogüé did not accept the announced results.

    His brochure was reviewed by Georges Colonna-Ceccaldi in Revue archéologique 1876 II p. 280, who stated that the work of Brandis, Moriz Schmidt, Euting, Smith, Deecke and Siegismund shows Cypriot to be Greek.
