Dealer
Kyriakos Andronikos
fl. 1935 · Cyprus
Cypriot dealer, active in 1935. Sold to Cyprus Museum.
Life and work
- 1935According to the Cyprus Museum inventory (as reported by Merrillees), the bronze sceptre CM 1935/V-22/3 (13.0 cm high) was purchased from Kyriakos Andronikos, source given as Erimi. Dikaios had attributed the other 1935 sceptre (CM 1935/III-7/1, from Panayiotis Rostas, source Gypsos) to the Palma collection and Kourou had said CM 1935/V-22/3 was bought from G. Palma who had acquired it from Andronikos; Merrillees says the sources were transposed and Palma had no part in this piece.
