Life and work
- 1999Co-signed with V. Karageorghis the preface to the KHM Cypriote catalogue (103 objects of the Antikensammlung and 10 coins of the Münzkabinett). The project came out of cooperation with the Foundation Anastasios G. Leventis, Nicosia, with EU Cypria Raphael funding, and Karageorghis initiated it; Gschwantler is thanked as director, along with A. Bernhard-Walcher, who wrote numerous texts.
- 1999Signs (KG) catalogue entries including the Amazon sarcophagus from Soloi (Kat. 1, Inv. I 169), the Ptolemaic inscription from the temple of Aphrodite at Paphos (Inv. III 7, acquired 1803 from Joseph von Hammer-Purgstall), the Artemis of Larnaca (Kat. 3, Kition 1880, acquired on the Paris trade in 1884) and the colossal limestone votive statue from Pyla (Kat. 76, acquired 1872 from Georg v. Millosicz), plus notes on Kat. 79-80.
