    On the third day of HMS Tigre's stay at Katopaphos, Sir Sidney Smith lent Hammer the ship's big boat and a crew with picks and axes to dig out a mosaic floor and inscribed stones at Kouklia; Hammer's memoirs (as quoted by Maier) say 'Keith und Bromley fuhren mit'.
