- 1909Described in W. J. Farrell's report on the Cyprus Museum (Sept. 1909) as 'Major Clauson, Chief Secretary to the Government', whose 'sympathetic efforts' on behalf of Dawkins's recommendations for excavators Farrell did not expect to take practical effect.
