    A remarkable tomb was found under the house of 'one Ianni, a Cypriot watchmaker' at Larnaca: a large vaulted chamber supported by two arches, with two sarcophagi containing bones of unusual size. Reported by Mariti's friend, along with sarcophagi found in 1766 by Signor Zambelli's masons and four tomb chambers in the garden of M. Hermitte's house.
