    Analysed soil samples from the red substance (no. 60b) in bronze vessel no. 60a from a Palaepaphos-Skales tomb: compounds of iron, aluminium and calcium with traces of copper; Karageorghis takes it to be red ochre and the vessel a cosmetics box.
