    Chicago PhD thesis on the pottery of the 'Amuq phases K to O (Tell Tayinat, Tell el-Judeidah, Chatal Huyuk) with comments on the chronology of Cypriot Black-on-Red ware: held that BoR was Cypriot in origin, rejected Van Beek's high dates as raising more difficulties than they removed, and allowed only a slight upward adjustment of Gjerstad's dates
