Published the Relazione del Reale museo egizio ed etrusco in Firenze, the first printed guide listing the Cypriot gift of Riccardo Colucci (given 1870-1871). It describes the Cypriot vases and sculptures as the profit of excavations Colucci made 'in perlustrare un tempio presso Paphos', which he generously gave to the Florence museum. Di Paolo notes the Paphos temple claim is not found in the donation correspondence or in Schiaparelli's 1878 inventory.
