Ernest Massenot
fl. 1870
Active in 1870. Worked for Tinco Martinus Lycklama a Nijeholt.
Life and work
- UndatedCompiled an 'énumération désordonnée' of the objects of the Lycklama collection, which Decaudin says is the only thing approaching an inventory: pieces sometimes grouped without a count, no measurements or descriptions that would allow identification, fanciful comments, and no allusion to origin or manner of entry for the essential pieces. The date of the list is not given on the page.

- UndatedHis family kept the Lycklama archives 'jalousement' (jealously); Decaudin says Ariane Vincent worked from them, as private archives held in the family of E. Massenot, and that Decaudin herself could not use Vincent's article in time.
