Life and work

  1. 1929–1930
    Sang an 'indecent song' at the workers' party given by the expedition at Dali, where the narrator describes him as 'the old rogue Chrysanthos with large moustaches and a heart of gold'; the Turkish worker Osman Hussein sang before him.
