Life and work
- 1883Found, with peasants, Hellenistic terracottas from graves at Kourion (Ohnefalsch-Richter's plate caption: 'by peasants and by a Limissiot Alexandres (since dead) in 1883').
- 1883Per Ohnefalsch-Richter, was 'director and inspector' of the excavations of Messrs J. W. Williamson and C. Christian at Kourion, run under a comprehensive permit without government or Cyprus Museum control or competent archaeological supervision; Ohnefalsch-Richter says he could not write. The necropolis had earlier been dug by Gordon Hake in 1882 for the South Kensington Museum.
