The Cyprus American Archaeological Research Institute (CAARI) in Nicosia and the Honor Frost Foundation are offering a new graduate fellowship for research on the maritime archaeology or maritime heritage of Cyprus. Applications close on 11 January 2027.

There is one award of £2,000, which CAARI puts at roughly US$2,600. Graduate students of any nationality may apply, wherever they are enrolled, and those from Egypt, Cyprus, Lebanon and Syria are given preference. The money pays for a spell of research while living at the institute and helps with travel; staying at CAARI is a condition of the grant.

The foundation's announcement links to its own online application and names Dani Newman as the contact. Full terms are on CAARI's fellowships page, which also lists the institute's three other graduate awards, the Danielle Parks Memorial, the Helena Wylde Swiny and Stuart Swiny, and the Anita Cecil O'Donovan fellowships; those close earlier, on 7 December 2026.
