- 1897Recke's catalogue entry for the Römisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum, Mainz (195 ceramics and other objects) records a 1897 gift of the Virchow-Stiftung, bought from Ohnefalsch-Richter; probably the same gift Recke's text dates 1898 (over 240 antiquities).
