History
- 1980–1981A team under Evert Baudou of Umeå explored the Tremithos river region, Ayia Anna to Kalochorio, looking for Mesolithic remains. Archaeological Reports 1981-85 describes a Swedish team under Professors Baudou and Paul Åström investigating sites in the Tremithos Valley, with simple flint tools seemingly pre-dating the Khirokitia material, and no polished stone implements.
