- 27 April 1877At a session Uvarov submitted his collection of Cypriot antiquities, bought in the 1870s from the Russian consul Yusefovich, and presented a paper dividing Cypriot art into three periods. The text calls the resulting publication probably the first mention of Cypriot antiquities in Russian literature.
