- 1875–1880After the 1875 Yorkshire Exhibition, John Holmes arranged loans of Sandwith's collection to museums in York, Sheffield and Halifax (Reeve says Halifax, not specifying this society).
- 1884At the society's conversazione J. W. Davis exhibited household vessels, lamps and terracotta female heads 'discovered by Consul Sandwith in graves in the Island of Cyprus'.
