- 4 March 1875Vice-Consul Ioannis Kaloutsis takes the sworn statement of Cesnola's digger Koutsocheris ('one handed') about the Amathus excavations of 1874. Marangou dates it 4 March 1875 and thinks it was forced by Cesnola; the text is printed from Kypriaka Chronika 1930.
