History
- 1972R. E. Linington of the Lerici Foundation tested the central part of the Late Bronze Age site at Hala Sultan Tekke with a magnetometer before the Swedish excavation (28 August to 30 September 1972); anomalies were then dug, exposing a large building probably of LC IIIA.
