The project
John Lund reports that a survey by Sophocles Hadjisavvas identified seven settlements dated to the Classical Period and 39 to the Hellenistic Age1. The survey area ran along the northern coast from Akanthou to Komi Kebir, and and from Ormidhia to the east coast1. Lund cites Hadjisavvas's 1991 Καταβολές 1 for the figures1.
