Description:

Limestone statuette of a female worshipper holding a piece of fruit as an offering; she is standing on a low, narrow plinth facing forward, the right shoulder higher than the left; she wears a long, plain robe which extends to the ankles, with shoes on her feet; she holds a pomegranate (?) to her breast with her right hand, the left hangs by the side with clenched fist; around her neck is a necklace of beads terminating in a pendant hanging between her breasts behind the fruit; rounded face with prominent, almond-shaped eyes and slightly raised lips suggesting a smile; ears hidden by covers; below the diadem around her forehead are rows of curls, with the hair behind tied back and falling to the shoulders; the back of the statue is unworked; traces of red paint on the shoes.
