Dear Professor Schaeffer,

Next Monday , the 14th Oct, Monsieur Masson and I would very much like to visit Enkomi , preferably in the morning . We do not, however, want to create any inconvenience in the course of the work . If there is no difficulty there , no need to answer this letter. If for some reason or other you prefer another date , you may be kind enough to let us know through Marinos Vaios .

We are both looking very much forward to seeing you at Enkomi , where we hope the work has started with good omens.
