Dear Mr Karageorghis, I thank you for your letter of 17 March and for the information you have kindly given me. I am saddened to learn of the death of your Father, for I know how comdevoted you were to him. But now, after a life well filled and after having given to his country a son who does him honour, he rests in this pretty village of Tricomo, not far from the charming chapel that we have often visited and admired. When you see his tomb again, lay this small flower of France near his cross on behalf of my wife and myself. Yours sincerely devoted, C. F A Schaeffer.
