Description

A view across stony ground toward a bare hill, with stone houses in the middle distance. The nearest house has a plain doorway and shuttered windows, and white cloths lie on the ground and hang by its entrance. On the right, a building with a row of arches stands beside a leafy tree, and low stone walls and a large worked block fill the foreground.
