Terracotta Proto-Cypriote I, I. Andersson photo

Description

Close view of a terracotta statue showing the head and upper torso of a bearded figure. The pointed conical cap has a broken top edge, and the face has large almond-shaped eyes, a long nose, a small closed mouth and a pointed beard with curled tips. A ring earring hangs from the visible ear, and cracks run across the clay surface against a plain dark backdrop.
