Jugs and bowls from Lapithos Markides, T.18.A

Description

Rows of pottery vessels stand on four wooden shelves against a dark background, several dozen pieces in all. The lowest row holds large handled jugs and vases, some painted with bands, lozenges and zigzags, while the upper shelves hold smaller jugs, juglets, bowls and rounded objects. Each piece sits on a small wire support, and a round number label and a handwritten place card are set among them.
