… black-figure sherds. All the layers beneath the cement floor are evidently clean fillings, tipped there for the sake of the high floor-level. The walls, with the exception of the said wall towards room 10, are laid of small head-sized cobbles, held together by still partly preserved gypsum, with reinforcements at the corners.
Room 10.29/9Immediately above room 12, between this and room 11 (see the sketch), lies room 10. The room, which is rectangular, measuring ×. m, has roughly the same floor level as room 12. The cement is somewhat different from that in room 12 and more like that of the large courtyard (room 14). In room 10 a cross-section is cut parallel to the wall towards room 7 and about 1 m. from it. The section shows no developed layer stratification.
