[sketch: small diagram of intersecting lines in blue pencil… had found the south wall of the temple. The wall is followed in an eastward direction while at the same time the area next to House 1 is examined. It appears then that the south wall, after it has run for ca 2 m parallel with the wall in House 1, turns off at a right angle and extends to a point ca 1 m from the house, where it breaks off without any even edge. An observation of the greatest importance is that the north wall (the stepped wall), which extends under House 1 with a square edge, breaks off at a point which coincides perfectly with the westward extension of the west wall to the north. Even before the whole area is excavated one may thus assume that the wall stump just described in a north-south direction (the west wall) is really a remnant of, and forms the temple's boundary to the west. The corner that has been mentioned then becomes the temple's southwest corner. If these conclusions are correct, the question arises of the connection between House 1 and the temple
