See otherwise the longitudinal section of the chamber. Owing to the position of the dromos directly beneath a road ditch, some washing has occurred to a degree sufficient to disturb the position of the finds. The main burial itself, however, lies in situ (Lik III). The earthly remains of three people are found: Skull I together with fragments of rib and upper arm lies fairly high up in the fill (between layers 4 and 5), together with associated pelvic fragments and femur. Skull 2 alone, without other skeletal remains, lies a little lower, i.e. entirely within layer 5. Skull 3, with the whole skeleton well preserved, lies directly on the rock's thin chavara layer. Associated with Skull 2 are a number of well-preserved skeletal remains which are found packed in the amphora find no. 22. Probably the amphora stood upright and was capped by the skull of the skeleton lying inside it.
