21/4… in under the statue bases at the 11th-12th metre tern Under the rock blocks at the first sectionterns outside (i.e. west of) wall one, a hard stone- and sand-mixed clay layer is found, which is completely sterile. It was dug to a depth of 0.5 m, but thereafter was left for the future. It probably continues several metres down to the rock but is entirely virgin. 1 At the 5th metre in the extension of the shallow wall there, a burnt stratum lies 0.20 m below the floor stratum's base-level. About another c. 0.5 m. down the same hard sand-mixed clay layer begins as in the first squares of the section. The burnt stratum has a limited extent and a thickness of c. 0.10 m.

East of (i.e. behind) the statue bases at 10-12 the burnt layer continues. Among the pottery a couple of geometric (bucchero) pieces are noted.
