… dromos, since it runs at right angles to the others. It is cut both by the dromos of 420 and by 417, which are found during the clearing. For the time being the transverse depression is abandoned and we go on to follow the dromos of 420.
In the dromos up to 412 a burial is found at the level of the rock, scarcely 0.5 m. below the surface of the earth. The skeleton, which lies in a crouched position, is uncovered. It appears to be without grave goods.
17/3In the dromos to 412 lie three skeletons immediately adjacent and partly intertwined with one another. They are being uncovered together with the pot that forms the grave goods. Two are well preserved and lie in pseudo-hocker position, i.e. squeezed into the round recess in the rock where they rest. The third is destroyed except for the skull. They are numbered from west to east: skeleton 1, 2 and 3.
