26/10The blocks in tomb 22 are cleared for drawing.
27/10The plan and section of tomb 22 are being drawn up. The large blocks in the middle of the dromos are a problem. A couple of the tomb chambers which have already come to light, however, seem to lack door-stones, or are incompletely covered. Surely, therefore, some of the blocks have served as door-stones, since they are extremely thick and massive. It is possible that the most irregular of them were used as packing for security outside the actual doorstone. In any case both the dromos and a couple of the chambers have been disturbed by human hand. The dromos fill is homogeneous with only prehistoric sherds, so one cannot therefrom date the plundering. The dromos is photographed.
